I wanted to thank you and Whittingtons for the excellent work designing and installing the new kitchen at Rookwood Park at the end of 2017.
I worked out that this was the 9th - and largest - construction work that Whittingtons have completed in this current and former house since we first engaged you in 2006. A great indicator of our satisfaction with the quality of Whittington’s design and execution. But also a reflection of the quality and skill of your builders and craftsmen.

We wanted to write and thank both you and the Whittingtons’ team for the recent work involved in the complete renovation of our kitchen and lobby.

After the excellent work your team had accomplished previously in the complete renovation of our bathroom, en suite and cloakroom it was inconceivable that we would choose any other company to undertake the latest project. From start to finish your personal advice, guidance, expertise and management of the kitchen project has been invaluable. Your coordination of a team of highly skilled craftsmen from the many different trades involved was very much appreciated.

Liam helpfully guided us through the choice of our beautiful high gloss Nobilia kitchen units, tweaking the plans during the process to ensure we achieved everything we required.

The Whittingtons’ team were unfailingly professional, cheerful, courteous, industrious, considerate and good humoured.

Most grateful thanks to Will, Mark and Barry, especially to Will for his stunning work in restoring the brickwork on the side wall which blends in seamlessly.

The tilers, Malcolm and Luke, shared the mammoth and exacting task of covering every visible inch of walls and floors to a faultless standard. Malcolm is a true perfectionist and employs his talents to superb effect. His and Luke’s help and knowledge in the choice of trim and grout colours was significant.

Paul and Mark, the kitchen cabinet fitters were fundamental to the work with their accurate and efficient installation of the new units to a very high standard.

Mark from Stone Systems was patient and enormously helpful in ensuring that templating of our quartz worktops and breakfast bar was achieved accurately and to our precise specifications. His advice on edge profiles was invaluable. Marius and Damien kindly fitted the worktops with much care and consideration, while making constructive suggestions.

Brian, Ben and Jesse’s electrical skills were highly effective, showing the kitchen off to literally dazzling effect.

Tim’s decorating skills were of the highest order.

Graham’s carpentry craftsmanship and other skills were immeasurable once again in adjusting numerous doors and creating thresholds. His attention to detail was clearly visible throughout.

Ben’s plumbing skills were unsurpassed, as always; the choice and installation of our new boiler, the creation of his faultless (and largely hidden) new pipework, our stylish new radiator and outside tap. We also deeply appreciated his visit on a Saturday after a water leak caused by a frozen outside pipe (unrelated to the work on the kitchen). His help and reassurance were exactly what we needed. He is a thoroughly experienced plumber and pleasant young man and does you much credit.

Last but not least, thank you to Amy in the office who was cheerful and efficient on the phone and most effective at liaising with Graham and Ben as needed.

We would warmly recommend Whittingtons to anyone contemplating using you in any of your many areas of expertise. Thank you for another brilliant piece of work by your team.
